Roulette celebration at Revolution Poker Network sites

Roulette has a history that stretches back to the 18th Century and now two sites on the Revolution Poker Network are celebrating the success of the game invented in France by offering their players 20 complimentary bets.

From now until September 23, players at Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes can receive the 20 complimentary one-dollar roulette wagers and keep their winnings, which will have a quintuple wagering requirement, up to $250.


“Last month it was free video poker [and] this month free roulette,” read a statement from Juicy Stakes.

There are two main versions of roulette, European and American, and players wager on where a decelerating orbiting ball will land on a similarly slowing counter-rotating wheel. Competitors can bet on the number or colour of the slot where they believe the ball will eventually land or even whether that numeral will be odd or even-numbered. While the European variant of the game has one zero on its wheel, it’s trans-Atlantic compatriot sees two while the games additionally offer ‘French bets’, which are wagers on a designated series of numbers with special names such as ‘voisins du zero’ (neighbours of zero) or ‘le tiers du cylindre’ (thirds of the wheel).

“We’ve also got craps, hi-lo and four variations of blackjack,” read a statement from Intertops Poker.

Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes are also reminding players that they have one final chance to win a prize package into the upcoming CPT Punta Cana poker festival in the Dominican Republic for as little as $2.20. The sites will launch their final three-tier satellite tournament series on September 23 with hopefuls able to buy-in at any point.
