A little over two weeks after initiating a unique social media marketing campaign featuring metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne and Metal Casino has now announced that American guitarists Gary Holt and Nita Strauss have joined its ranks as brand ambassadors.Malta and United Kingdom-licensed Metal Casino launched in August while its list of supporters also includes influential thrash metal guitarist Scott Ian as well as long-serving studio musician Ryan Roxie.“I am super excited to announce that I have partnered with Metal Casino as a brand ambassador,” said 53-year-old Holt, who is a member of Californian heavy metal band Exodus alongside serving as one of two guitarists for thrash metal originators Slayer.“There will be prizes to be won, guitars, meet-and-greets, concert tickets and more. If you're into metal and into games of chance, how could it get any better.”For her part, Los Angeles-born Strauss is perhaps best known as the touring guitarist for legendary rocker Alice Cooper but she has also served time with the all-female Iron Maiden tribute act The Iron Maidens.“Metal Casino combines two of my favorite things, having fun and listening to heavy metal,” said Strauss.“For someone like me who isn't an experienced enough gambler to go play in Las Vegas, Metal Casino is a great place to come and have a good time.”Metal Casino declared that its roster of brand ambassadors moreover includes Dave Ellefson from Megadeth alongside Swedish rocker Lord Ahriman while the site gives players the chance to win exclusive merchandise as well as tickets to gigs and backstage meet-and-greets.“First of all we are extremely happy to welcome a hard-rocking woman like Nita Strauss into the Metal Casino family,” read a statement from Clas Dahlen, Chief Marketing Officer for Metal Casino.“Gary Holt from Slayer truly strengthens our metal core since Slayer is one of the ‘big four’ in thrash metal and just an awesome band.
